Chanel Byzantines Boutique Exclusives

It's been a while since I posted anything but I just received a photo of the gorgeous Chanel Byzantines Boutique Exclusives! These are limited to Chanel boutiques and should be arriving in late June.

By now most are know about the Lumieres Byzantines de Chanel Palette that was featured in the US Vogue May 2011 issue. That palette is limited to 1500 numbered pieces with only 150 coming to the U.S. and is $250! Yikes! I wouldn't want to use it and then what is the point of buying it!

The picture to the right shows the rest of the collection which includes:

Les 4 Ombres Topkapi
Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick
Joues Contraste Blush Or and Rouge

I think the Les 4 Ombres Topkapi looks gorgeous and the red blush is stunning. I can't wait the try out the new Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks!

I actually like these better than the jeweled palette.

Lippmann Nail Polish- Between The Sheets......

It is still hot, hot, hot here in the Northeast! When I went to have my nails done this week I decided that I wanted a color that was super hot like the weather! I looked through my many nail polishes (yes another addiction like the coffee...lol) and had forgotten that I bought this color in the early spring. Since it was bright I was saving it for the warmer weather and since now the temperture outside has reached the boiling point, I figured it was time to wear it.

The color is by Deborah Lippman and is called Between The Sheets($16) and true to its name this is a seductively hot color! I would describe it as a beautiful magenta creme polish. It is bright but not neon and so pretty I couldn't stop looking at my nails! I am a big fan of the Lippman polishes because I can go for about 4 days without chipping and having to touch up. They are extremely easy to apply, very smooth with great coverage. The Lippmann collection has many great colors, especially the reds.

The day after I put this on I received an email promo from Lippmann showing Eva Mendes wearing the same polish for this month's Allure magazine shoot! It looks sizzling hot with the leopard dress she is wearing. I posted the picture above.

It is a color that will definitely make you look "hot" and not because you feel like you are burning during the current heatwave we are having.

I bought is polish at lippmancollection.com

Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner

A lot of other bloggers write about their "Holy Grail" products, the makeup item they couldn't live without. Since it has been so horribly hot here in the Northeast, I thought this is a great time to write about my must have product.

My favorite makeup item that I love and use EVERYDAY is the Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner is Espresso. I love this eyeliner for its beautiful dark rich color. It is not as harsh as black can sometimes be, yet provides deep dark color that makes my eyes pop. It is exactly the color of a coffee bean (another Holy Grail thing I can not live without...LOL!). The best thing about it is that it's waterproof and lasts ALL DAY! It goes on smooth, no tugging on the eyelid. Stylo also has a built in sharpener on bottom that pulls off so you don't have to go looking for a sharpener!

About a year ago I could not find this eyeliner and was told by a few Chanel SA's that it was discountinued! I was devasted! For three months I had to use other liner brands, Lancome, Bobbie Brown, MAC. None compared to my faithful Chanel Stylo Yeux Espresso! They were not the right shade and did not last the full day. Then after three long months a Chanel SA called and said she received three pieces and had put two aside for ME! It was not going to be discontinued after all! I was so happy but learned my lesson, always by an extra!

There is NOTHING that compares to this eyeliner. It is the perfect color with excellent staying power especially during these hot humid days!

Chanel Le Vernis Paradoxal Fall 2010

I am so excited to start my own blog! What a better way to start than with the new Chanel Le Vernis Nail Polish for Fall 2010-Paradoxal!
Paradoxal is a stunning dusty plum with a slight iridescence. It is a gorgeous chic and edgy color that will be an amazing neutral for fall.
The top pic is of the polish bottle and polish applied in natural light. The bottom pic is of the polish applied in daylight. I am absolutely in love with it!
This is definitely a color to get on the wait list for now. It will be in stores towards the end of July. I am sure it will be another sell out for Chanel.
I purchased this on eBay. Pictures are mine.
